Are you living life with true happiness?
Happiness is something that we all want in our lives.
There are different answers to this question like “I would be happy when I’ll buy a new car, new house, new shop, traveling the world, being with friends or family, winning a lottery, getting married, having children, playing, partying with friends, etc.”
Most of these moments come in your life for few minutes or days and after that they are gone. Like buying a car, shop or house these are momentary happiness and they can’t make you happy for longtime.
People get in relationships or marriages because they seek happiness in their partner and suddenly one day you had an argument or fight and you feel that happiness is gone.
We all want to be with our friends and family because we feel happy in their company. We seek happiness in traveling and enjoying in different cities, capturing scenic beauty in our cameras.
But don’t you think your happiness is associated either with materialistic things, places or with other people.
And the truth is we are looking our happiness in the outside world. We don’t even understand the actual meaning of true happiness.
True happiness is happiness inside you. True happiness is enjoying your own company and living in peace and harmony with your body, mind and soul. True happiness is state of mind constantly being in love with yourself.
For being truly happy you neither need other people nor materialistic things.
“Happiness is the consequence of personal effort. You fight for it, strive for it, insist upon it, and sometimes even travel around the world looking for it. You have to participate relentlessly in the manifestations of your own blessings. And once you have achieved a state of happiness, you must never become lax about maintaining it. You must make a mighty effort to keep swimming upward into that happiness forever, to stay afloat on top of it.”
― Elizabeth Gilbert, Eat, Pray, Love

>Make pact with yourself that you will treat yourself the best
>Be kind and humble with yourself first only then you can be this way with others
>Do some small selfless things like smile at strangers, giving seat to others in public transport etc.
